The Board has approved the first phase of new walkway lighting. This first phase will improve the lighting on the south walkway adjacent to the Welk Resorts wall. There will be additional pagoda lighting, as well as some spot lighting to provide decorative and increased ambient light levels. A second phase will be installed in the green space between Camino Jalan, Calle Barcelona & Paseo Real.
While we realize how important it is to have increased ambient lighting of Paseo Real, there are some significant challenges with running general electrical lines in the fronts of many of the units. The board will continue to investigate solutions to this issue.
This lighting project will occur over the next couple of months.
