We are continuing to add lighting to the Association common area, but the work is not yet complete. We’ve recently added pagoda lighting to some of the guest parking areas. And we are working on lighting some dark areas that have been mentioned by some of our residents.
Because of the way electricity has to be pulled, some of the more dramatic facade and tree lighting will be offered by working with adjacent homeowners and their electricity, offering a small subsidy to cover the ongoing costs of this efficient and cost-effective ambient and accent lighting.
We are happy to see our overall electrical costs go down by as much as 30% when compared to the years prior to swapping out everything for LED lighting.
