Results of the Smoking Survey showed that a majority of respondents want no ban on smoking of any kind in common areas (except pool areas) as well as inside residences.
As with many homeowner’s association boards, we face increasing concerns from non-smokers about their smoking neighbors and are being asked to take action. In addition, there is renewed interest in this topic after California citizens legalized the consumption of cannabis products in November 2016. With this in mind, the board, with recommendations from Desert Management conducted a smoking survey with all HOA#1 residents.
